We are seeking a Functional Lead to support the London police force. This role is crucial in shaping and supporting the development of Workforce solutions that enhance People and System processes. The right candidate will provide subject matter expertise, guidance, advice, and input into architectural, technical, and business solutions. This is a hybrid position based in Kilburn, offering a competitive day rate for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with Workforce Planning teams to document requirements for modelling, analysing, and forecasting workforce needs.
- Provide insight and oversight of BAU change, ensuring alignment with Programme direction and initiatives.
- Engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand the impacts of technical solutions on Workforce-related solutions.
- Critically evaluate assumptions and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Ensure solution requirements are fit for purpose and strategically aligned with the programme.
- Support the definition and development of Workforce reporting solutions that meet the needs of the function and the customer.
- Foster successful relationships across Programme, People, and other key stakeholder groups.
- Work with external consultants and suppliers to review and deliver solutions for People processes.
- Identify and improve/stabilise touchpoints between various Workforce Applications and integrate with other non-Workforce solutions.
- Drive organisational workforce systems change and transformation in complex environments.
- Operate confidently within multidisciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Oracle HR Cloud.
- Experience in Strategic Workforce Planning / EPM is ideal.
- Ability to work in a complex and changing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of delivering system change and transformation interventions.
