We're seeking a talented eCommerce category trader to join our dynamic Lifestyle team at our Huddersfield Head Office. As a product-focused e-commerce category trader, you'll dive into the details of our lifestyle products, highlight their benefits, and create compelling hooks to drive sales and elevate our online presence to new heights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion through our website by optimising the customer journey.
  • Use insights and experience to improve performance through content, promotions, marketing spend, and service offers.
  • Build e-commerce KPIs across various channels, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work with our paid media team to optimise spend and increase profitability.
  • Liaise with key departments such as Buying, CRM, Merchandising, Traffic, and Creative to deliver category plans.
  • Use insights to make improvements, identify new initiatives and opportunities for category growth, and produce data to support strategy.
  • Create content plans, buying guides, and other assets to drive conversion and revenue.
  • Identify opportunities for personalised promotions, product recommendations, and new functionalities.
  • Use marketplaces and affiliates for clearance activities on aged stock.
  • Ensure key information, specs, infographics, and product descriptions are optimised.
  • Manage tone of voice across Lifestyle sites and customer communications.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a commercial e-commerce role, ideally within product-driven retail.
  • Proficient with GA4 and various analytical tools to interpret data and drive performance.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce principles and technology, focusing on customer journey improvements.
  • Experience working with paid media and other marketing teams.
  • Ambitious, energetic, self-starter with commercial thinking, great interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
