We're looking for a highly experienced AP Manager who understands controls around transactional finance and is able to improve reporting processes and efficiencies around the AP function
The role...
- Identify and implement improvements to the AP process to enhance efficiency and accuracy, including leveraging technology and automation where appropriate.
- Oversee the entire accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and reconciliation of vendor accounts.
- Supervise and support the AP team, ensuring that they are meeting deadlines, adhering to policies, and maintaining accuracy in their work.
- Manage AP processes across multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistency and accuracy in payment processing.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any issues or discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and present regular reports on AP performance, cash flow, and outstanding liabilities to the Head of Finance.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding AP transactions.
About you...
- Previous experience in a previous AP Manager position
- Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or multi-site retail industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent understanding of AP processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
