Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Identifying and prioritizing key accounts
- Visiting existing and prospective clients to maintain relationships
- Driving sales by actively prospecting for new business opportunities
- Utilising a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions
- Conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations
- Cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Collaborating with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to gather customer feedback and improve offerings
- Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
- Conducting regular market research and analysis to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats within the territory
- Adjusting sales strategies and tactics as necessary to capitalise on market dynamics and maximise revenue growth
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and business opportunities
- Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports summarizing performance metrics, pipeline status, and action plans
- Collaborating with sales leadership to develop forecasts, budgets, and sales initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record of success in sales roles
- Communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and occasionally attend industry events or trade shows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and other relevant systems
