Head of Planned Investment
- Contract Length: 6 months – 1 year (Interim)
- Day Rate: Negotiable
- Working Hours: 37 per week, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:50pm
- Worker Type: Hybrid – Office and Home

We are seeking an experienced Head of Planned Investment to lead and develop our clients housing investment schemes across the city. This interim role is crucial for the strategic and operational direction of our planned and replacement works, ensuring effective budget allocation and resource management to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the planning and execution of housing investment schemes, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Provide strategic and operational direction to the Assistant Director and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Manage both direct and contract staff to achieve project goals.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring efficient project management and adherence to timelines.
- Engage with tenants and key stakeholders to enhance the quality of living within the communities.
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing direct and contract staff.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Specific experience in Refurbishment Works is essential; candidates with only New Build experience will not be considered.
- Public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
