CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal required for our client a well-established Sheet Metal Fabricator based in the Walsall area. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced CAD CAM Engineer to join the team who holds previous experience with Radan programming software.
The CAD CAM Engineer will be work within a close-knit Design team, and play a pivotal role in the design and interpreting of a range of products using 2D and 3D software.
CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal Position Overview
- Reading, interpreting and producing engineering drawings with the use of Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD and Radan software's
- Working closely with Sales Estimator to produce engineering documentation on time
CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal Position Requirements
- Proficient in the use of Radan
- Previous experience within Sheet Metal Fabrication / Laser Cutting
- A knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD, ideally with AutoCAD and Inventor
- Design/ Engineering relevant qualifications desirable not essential
- Based in a commutable distance of Walsall
- Full UK Driving License
CAD / CAM Engineer - Sheet Metal Position Remuneration
- Salary: £30,000 to £42,000 - Depending Upon Experience
- Monday to Friday, 40 hour working week, flexible / negotiable start and finish times
- Holiday allowance and pension
