**Airfreight Export Coordinator
Be able to complete a job start to finish;
- Contact shippers.
- Arrange collections.
- Cut MAWB & HAWBs, displaying knowledge of country requirements, IATA rates & airline requirements ie operator variations, Promo references etc.
- Demonstrate negotiations with airlines for maximum margin.
- Complete Customs entries (Descartes) and have knowledge of slightly more complex procedure codes. (IPR, BONDED, EXPORT LICENCING etc).
- Provide quotations & understand market rates.
- High customer service levels throughout providing agents post flights, departure advice etc.
- Additional bonus qualifications – Dangerous Goods trained & Aviation Security trained up to level CO (Cargo Operative).
- Ability to provide a safety net to ensure nothing is missed.
- Adhere to a fast-paced environment with strong email management & response time.
- You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.
