Job Title:
Health and Social Care Assessor
(Opportunities available for Level 3 or Level 5 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship delivery)

Home based - Must be flexible with travel when required
Salary:
£25,000 - £27,000 (Salary dependent on level of delivery)
Type:
Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria:
- Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
- Successful candidates must have experience of delivering Apprenticeships - ideally current experience (possibility to consider candidates who may have had a short break from Assessing Apprenticeships).
- Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
- Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly), ideally to Management level.
- Must have a good level of ICT skills
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel
Duties include:
- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at either Level 3 or Level 5 (Depending on level of competency).
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI's in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
Personal Skills:
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
