Secretarial Administration Assistant

The Firm
A highly ranked, Legal 500 law firm is seeking a Administration Assistant to join their City of London Office.

The Opportunity
The successful Administration Assistant will provide administrative assistance to two Fee Earners within the property team. You will need to have a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work along with excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Duties to include:

  • Opening new client files
  • Filing and archiving documents
  • Drafting and editing of legal documents, including letters, emails and reports
  • Assisting with preparing clients bills and completion statements
  • Preparing BACS/TT/Faster payments
  • Digital Dictation
  • Managing Fee Earners' diaries, scheduling teams calls and client meetings etc.
  • Delivering a quality service internally and to clients
  • Typing up meeting and attendance notes
  • Representing the firm at events such as young chambers, client events and networking
  • Preparing and submit HM Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions and searches

This Administration Assistant position is a full time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.30pm

Requirements

  • Administration experience in a law firm (essential)
  • CILEX qualification (desirable)
