Junior Quantity Surveyor

Main Responsibilities for the successful Junior Quantity Surveyor:
Your role will be to assist senior members of the construction team, with various commercial duties
- Maintain contact with the customer and supply chain throughout the project lifespan, and act as a key contact.
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for construction projects at various stages.
- Receive and analyse quotations, liaising with contracts and site managers.
- Track the progress of the customer's input to the project so that their needs are anticipated and planned to the business's forecasting and planning systems.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the correct price and specification, on or ahead of programme and on or under budget.
- Prepare and issue accurate and detailed applications for payment, ensuring these are submitted on the correct dates.
- Support senior surveyors and architects with project management, tenders.
- Assist in developing strategies to mitigate identified risks.
About the successful Junior Quantity Surveyor:
- Part qualified in quantity surveying, construction management, architecture or similar.
- Highly IT literate and proficient with excel
- Highly organised and self-motivated individual
- Excellent communication skills with internal stakeholders and external clients
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Demonstrate excellent drive, determination, and ambition to succeed
- Clean UK License
