This role will play a crucial part in a dynamic global organisation as Systems Accountant, where you'll lead the development of financial systems and play a pivotal role in the integration of a new ERP solution. You'll need to have a track record of demonstrating high levels of accountability, be financially astute, with significant experience in systems implementations and configurations. Confidently working with internal and external stakeholders is a must.

About the Role:

As a Systems Accountant, you will be at the forefront of our client's finance systems development and integration. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and enhancing the current financial system (Hyperion) and integrating it into the new ERP solution (Infor LN).
  • Improving workflows and reporting functionalities within Hyperion to
  • Leading data cleansing exercises to improve auditing and archiving processes.
  • Building a more efficient month-end process for the finance teams.
  • Creating and maintaining process documents and providing regular training and workshops.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for finance systems and supporting the finance systems strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support financial projects, including the upgrade or replacement of the Hyperion system.
  • Liaise regularly with IT Business Systems Managers.
  • Enhance systems related to the month-end management account process and budget.
  • Manage ad hoc projects supporting the CEO, CFO, and Group FC.
  • Document all finance IT systems processes and provide user training where applicable.

What We're Looking For:

  • ACCA or CIMA qualification (desirable).
  • Proven experience in systems implementations and working with Hyperion systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and manufacturing accounting.
  • A track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
