Duties & Responsibilities of a Water Hygiene Engineer:
- You will analyse closed systems and dose accordingly.
- You will complete scale inspections and perform de-scaling works.
- You will inspect and clean CWST and cooling towers.
- You will inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves.
- You will sample water systems for Legionella and bacteria.
- You will be required to complete reactive maintenance and PPMs.
Skills & Requirements Needed of a Water Hygiene Engineer:
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- Ideally, you will have an NVQ level 2 or similar in plumbing.
- You will need 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Must have a good understanding of the water treatment industry & ACOP- L8.
- Experience in the above duties will be beneficial.
