Join our client on a Critical, state of the art, commercial property in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking to avoid the hassle of commuting to Central London, this role provides a great salary, High Voltage training, internal progression and valuable experience.
This role will consist of undergoing PPM and Reactive maintenance on Electrical and Mechanical equipment on site, oversee the work of another shift engineer, liaise with subcontractors and strengthen relations with the client.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified in electrical installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) at least 5 years prior experience in commercial maintenance and a client facing attitude.
Duties:
- Planned preventative & Reactive maintenance
- Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), UPS, LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, CRAC units, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps BMS Operation
- Organising subcontractors
- Quotations
- Health & Safety
- Logbooks
- Risk assessments
- Permits to work
Requirements:
- City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent) qualification in Electrical Installations
- At least 5 years prior experience in commercial maintenance
- Experience in High Voltage switching / scheduling - Desirable
- Experience in critical environments - Desirable
- Career driven and motivated
- Apprentice trained - Disirable
- Polite and personable
Salary and Benefits:
- £42,000 - £45,000 per annum
