Sales Administrator: 12-month Maternity cover – to start October 2024
Our client is seeking a Sales Administrator to manage their sales orders – you must have a very high attention to detail, and accuracy is a must.
With 45 years of business, our client is a trade-only specialist office technology distributor and they're a family business who distribute for 40 tech brands – Epson and Phillips to name a few.
In a nutshell, you will verify customer information and relay order instructions.
Job details:
- £22,500 p/a
- Start - Middle of October 2024
- 12-month fixed term contract – maternity cover
- Location: Plympton, Plymouth
- Full time, Monday – Friday 9:00-5:30
- Hybrid - may consider this after 6 months
Responsibilities of the Sales Administrator:
- Receiving and processing sales
- Verifying orders, including customers' information and payment
- Contacting customers by phone or email to answer queries and obtain missing information.
- Maintaining and updating sales and customer
- Expediting orders through internal
- Directing feedback from customers to relevant
- Supporting the sales department with other administrative tasks, if
Personal Qualities/ attributes
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Structured approach to work
- Good communication skills
Experience
- Previous experience in sales administration/data processing, or a similar role would be an advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet
- Excellent written and verbal communication
