DCT Recruitment have an exciting opportunity to join our client as Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in the Shotton Paper Mill Project.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operation of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and distribution of materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and manage the procurement of materials to prevent shortages or excess.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to construction site.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Inspect incoming materials addressing any discrepancies or defects.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, deliveries, and returns, and prepare regular reports for management.
- Organise warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A relevant vocational qualification, such as an NVQ in Warehousing and Storage, may be beneficial.
- Significant experience in warehouse management or logistics, within the MEP construction industry.
- Prior supervisory or management experience is essential.
- CSCS site qualifications.
- Forklift Operator License (e.g., RTITB or ITSSAR) for operating warehouse equipment safely.
Monday-Friday
7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (1h break unpaid)
Salary £14.00-£16.00 per hour PAYE
