Description
- Define and deliver Service excellence, mitigating risk, reducing cost and improving supplier relations
- Develop and implement IT services strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services, improving efficiency, communication and customer satisfaction.
- Manage IT budgets and resources effectively.
- Lead and mentor the IT Services & Operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure IT systems are supporting business operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations and standards.
- Manage IT risk and oversee disaster recovery planning.
- West Midlands based.
Profile
A successful Head of IT Services should have:
- Proven experience in leading IT Services in a regulated or equivalent risk- sensitive industry
- Essential that the Head of IT Services has supported contact centres
- Track record of driving service and cost improvements in a highly outsourced environment
- Must also have worked in a fast paced organisation and able to balance risk and delivering at pace
- Willing and able to be hands on in if required in a P1, therefore a technical grounding in career history is essential
- Keen interest and focus on risk management - both assessment and reporting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication skills, take a proactive approach with all levels of the organisational hierarchy
- Main hub is in the West Midlands, must be willing to site visit in North West & South West UK
