Sellick Partnership is delighted to be recruiting for a newly created post for an Education and SEN Lawyer role! This is fantastic opportunity to put your stamp on a new role and to develop your career!
Key responsibilities for the Education and SEN Lawyer role:
- Handling a caseload of SEND matters.
- Dealing with SEND tribunals.
- Drafting local authority responses, position statements, casework and collating final evidence.
- Drafting witness statements.
- Chairing legal planning and pre-hearing meetings.
- Providing general education law advice to client departments and schools.
Experience required for the SEN and Education Lawyer role:
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
- Some understanding and experience of SEND is essential.
