Sellick Partnership is delighted to be recruiting for a newly created post for an Education and SEN Lawyer role! This is fantastic opportunity to put your stamp on a new role and to develop your career!

Key responsibilities for the Education and SEN Lawyer role:

  • Handling a caseload of SEND matters.
  • Dealing with SEND tribunals.
  • Drafting local authority responses, position statements, casework and collating final evidence.
  • Drafting witness statements.
  • Chairing legal planning and pre-hearing meetings.
  • Providing general education law advice to client departments and schools.

Experience required for the SEN and Education Lawyer role:

  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive.
  • Some understanding and experience of SEND is essential.
