Accounts Payable Analyst - Hybrid – Swindon - £14-£16 per hour – 9 Months
Wade Macdonald is currently partnering with a highly respected, well-known logistics organisation who are established within their industry sector and have demonstrated growth in recent years, going from strength to strength.
They have an urgent need for an experienced accounts payable analyst to join their team asap. The hours are very flexible, and they also offer 2-3 days working from home.
About the Job:
In this role, you will support the operational activities of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring that suppliers are paid promptly and accurately. You will work closely with the AP Manager and an outsourced AP provider based in India to maintain smooth operations and high satisfaction levels among suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the AP function's operational activities, managing a supplier base of over 3000.
- Ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments.
- Overseeing AP functions such as invoice matching, query resolution, payments, supplier helpdesk, and colleague expense payments.
- Mitigating actions such as recovery of overpayments and resolution of legal escalations with suppliers.
- Assisting with month-end processes including direct debit payments and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Providing cover for payments in the absence of the AP Manager.
- Handling various ad-hoc duties as required.
About the Successful Applicant:
The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced environments, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and a professional attitude. Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to multi-task are essential. Intermediate Excel skills (vlookups and pivots) are required, with experience in Oracle Fusion and AAT studies being advantageous.
