Are you a project manager with excellent organisational and communication skills? Do you have experience in project management in a higher education setting? If so, Signature Recruitment is looking for a Project Manager to join our client, a leading London university. This one-month temporary assignment is full-time and offered on a flexible hybrid working model.
In this role, you will apply your project management experience and skills to assist with an ongoing research project working directly for academics in a leading London university. You will use your organisational and communication skills to drive the planning, research and networking across the UK academic community.
Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring engagement with the sponsors, academic partners and other stakeholders from industry, academia, and government
- Managing the regular cycles of events to include arranging monthly meetings, agendas, speakers etc
- Assisting with arrangements for Committees, Sub-Committees, Workshops and the Annual Mid-Winter Festival with all associated logistics and finances
- Manging the Project's grant, its budgets and accounts, and coordinating and distributing financial progress reports as necessary
- Coordinating quarterly and annual reports and keeping up-to-date finance and administrative records to meet audit requirements
- Assisting with all communications on the website and other social media ensuring tone of voice is on brand. These include papers, posters, reports, articles, newsletters etc
Project Manager Key Skills:
- Educated to degree level with demonstrable experience of project management ideally within a higher education setting
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to work to deadlines ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- A willingness and flexibility to work well as part of a team in order to ensure the smooth running and progression of the project
