An excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development / Field Sales Executive to join a well-established company.

Job Type: Full-Time - Permanent.

Salary: £30,000 Per Annum + Commission (Uncapped) + Benefits.

Location: Durham, North East England.

The company is looking for a dynamic Business Development/Field Sales Executive to join their team and help them expand their customer base. If you are a self-motivated, results-driven individual with a passion for sales and a desire to make a difference in fire safety, we want to hear from you!

About The Role:

  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their fire protection needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: In conjunction with the directors and senior team, develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Utilise market research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Product and Service Presentation: Present our range of fire protection services, including fire alarms, extinguishers, passive fire protection, and fire doors, to prospective clients.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Expert Fire Solutions and expand our reach.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategies and provide value to clients.
  • Customer Feedback and Reporting: Collect and relay customer feedback to internal teams to help refine service offerings. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

Experience / Qualifications needed:

  • Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the fire protection, safety, or construction industries.
  • Sales Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Ability to identify client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Self-Motivation: Highly motivated and results-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the assigned region to meet clients and attend events.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with fire safety regulations and certifications (e.g., BAFE, BM Trada) is a plus, but not essential - training will be provided.
