Fantastic opportunity awaits a high calibre Scientist seeking a position with a world leading pharmaceutical organisation!
In this research driven and highly collaborative position, you will effectively utilise your broad skill set in upstream processing to aid the development of protein therapeutics.
You will be predominantly laboratory-based working with both bench (15ml, 250ml) and pilot (200L) scale bioreactors and undertake a range of research duties to design, development and optimize cell culture and media formulations to produce novel biopharmaceutical drug substances
Applications are invited from candidates possessing:
- A BSc/MSc in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology (or other relevant discipline)
- Excellent understanding of cell culture & fermentation systems e.g. AMBR15 or AMBR250
- Working knowledge using mammalian expression systems e.g. CHO
- An understanding of protein analysis techniques
- Experience using TECAN purification systems is highly desirable
- Proficient trouble-shooter and problem solver
