Investigo are exclusively partnering a leading Private Equity backed services business based on the Surrey/London border. Reporting into the Group Finance Director, this is high profile role will have great visibility to senior stakeholders. Our client needs a commercially strong Head of FP&A to bridge the gap between core FP&A and business partnering. A very hybrid focused role to truly help drive the business forward.

The ideal candidate will be naturally curious to partner with leaders as well as immerse themselves into the operations of the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the annual budget & forecast process for the UK & I, consisting of the Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Key KPI's.
  • Responsible for measuring and driving effectiveness in the key commercial levers of the business including areas such as Sales and Marketing effectiveness, Customer retention rates and Service realisation.
  • Provide high quality forecasting/budgeting and commercial insight to improve business predictability.
  • Building key KPI's across existing and new customer portfolio to provide commercial insight to influence business decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting of key KPI's.
  • Highlight and investigating trends and variances in performance, including branch performance, accompanied by an objective commentary.
  • Developing a strong business partner relationship with both executive and non-executive management to combine their business knowledge and data-based analysis to influence decision.
  • Create, refine and automate reporting tools / models / dashboards that provide analysis and insight into KPIs, thus enabling the business leadership to make timely, accurate, and fact-based decisions.

Skills/qualifications:

  • The FP&A Manager will play a crucial role in driving the company's financial strategy and must be able to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and proficiency in financial modelling.
  • The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a medium to large sized recurring revenue service industry driven through KPI management.
  • the candidate should have experience within a fast-paced high-pressure environment with high growth aspirations.
  • The successful candidate will be a strong leader who is willing to step outside of the barriers of Finance and can demonstrate experience where this skill set has successfully delivered business improvement.
  • A minimum of 5 years post qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) is required.
