Role Purpose
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Estate Agent to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property transactions, from initial inquiry to final sale or lease. You will play a key role in helping clients buy, sell, and rent properties, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all parties involved.
- Account Management: Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalised service.
- Property Listings: Source and list properties for sale or rent, including conducting property appraisals, taking high-quality photos, and writing compelling descriptions.
- Market Research: Stay informed about the local property estate market, including property values, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Marketing and Promotion: Create and implement marketing strategies to promote properties through various channels, including online listings, social media, and open houses.
- Negotiation: Negotiate offers and counteroffers between buyers and sellers, ensuring the best possible terms for clients.
- Documentation: Prepare and review necessary documents, such as contracts, leases, and closing statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service throughout the transaction process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Networking: Build and maintain a network of contacts, including potential clients, property estate professionals, and industry partners.
- Administrative Duties: Manage administrative tasks related to property transactions, such as scheduling viewings, coordinating inspections, and maintaining client records.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as an estate agent or in a similar sales role
- 2 years strong sales experience
- 1 year account management experience
- Knowledge of the local property market and property laws ideally
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
