This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding, financial services, based in Slough as a Graduate Business Intelligence Analyst, joining a dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) team., reporting into the Lead BI Analyst.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst in this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse data-driven projects, gaining valuable experience in analysing and visualising business data to drive informed decision-making and support the organisation's growth.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Assist in analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Collaborate with team members to create insightful and actionable reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Business Objects, Pan Intelligence) to visualise data effectively.
Business Intelligence Development:
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance data visualisation capabilities and optimise user experience.
Requirements Gathering and Documentation:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytics needs.
Experience/Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualisation tools, such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
- Knowledge of data modelling concepts, database structures, and SQL query language.
