Quality Control Technician
- Location: Ledbury
- Contract Type: Fixed Term Maternity Cover (6 – 12 Months)
- Working Hours: Rotating Shift Pattern (06:55 – 19:00 / 18:55 – 07:00, including weekends)
Our client is a Manufacturing business based in Ledbury looking for a Quality Control Technician to join their Quality team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in the manufacturing process of packaging. This position is ideal for someone with an engineering background who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct quality control testing on production orders to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform quality checks and process confirmations on active production to maintain compliance with all process parameters and requirements.
- Take responsibility for decisions related to product release to customers and guide production operators in quality-based decision-making.
- Participate actively in the internal audit process and calibrate testing equipment.
- Issue certificates of analysis (CoA) and communicate results with customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 3 Engineering Qualification
- Experience in a Quality control environment
- Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing
- Experience conducting audits and process checks.
- Proficient in quality investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
