Description
- Manage financial transactions and reports within the team.
- Ensure accurate, timely accounting operations and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with team members for budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Develop and implement effective accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide input into department's goal setting process.
Profile
A successful Location Accountant should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Proficiency in major accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A professional certification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) would be advantageous.
