Our dynamic and innovative client based in Basingstoke is looking for a WordPress Developerr to create, design and maintain websites and web pages with WordPress as part of their Marketing functions. You'll be an enthusiastic, technically minded and collaborative person with experience in WordPress Web Design, Graphic Design, or Computer Science with a solid knowledge of SEO and a keen eye for aesthetics.

As the WordPress Developer, you will enjoy the following:

  • A salary of 32-37k plus a 2% bonus
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:30
  • Hybrid working arrangement of attending the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

As the WordPress Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining user-friendly websites in WordPress that are visually appealing
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as the Marketing and Development teams to ensure that all website content aligns with the brand guidelines and are optimised for performance
  • Managing multiple deliverables and projects at the same time, adhering to several deadlines
  • Conducting website maintenance on a regular basis

Who we're looking for:

You must have experience in Web Design or a similar role and be knowledgeable in SEO best practices and principles. Extensive WordPress knowledge and experience and experience editing plug-ins is essential. Experience with front-end frameworks, version control systems and a solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript are highly desired but not essential.
