About the Role
They are seeking a motivated individual to join their team in Newcastle as an Associate Financial Planner. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to advance their career in Financial Planning. You'll work closely with experienced Financial Planners, engaging with clients and providing them with high-level advice tailored to their financial goals.

The role is suited to an individual from a Paraplanner or Junior Financial Planner background who is looking to further their career by working with high level clients at a top tier organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support clients by understanding their needs and helping them achieve their financial objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective ongoing service, ensuring client satisfaction leads to new instructions and referrals.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to ensure their financial plans align with changing needs and risk appetite.
  • Work alongside Investment Management colleagues to strengthen and develop client relationships.
  • Provide holistic financial planning strategies and solutions tailored to each client.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant Financial Planning qualification (Level 4 or above, with aspirations for Level 7).
  • An up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing.
  • Previous experience in a Financial Planning role, assisting with client needs. Experienced Paraplanners who have had a level of client exposure will also be considered.
  • A strong understanding of financial products and the ability to communicate complex strategies effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage client relationships and provide advice on a fee basis.
