Job Descriptions:

1. Key Stage 1 Teacher:

Salary: £160-£230 per day (depending on experience and length of placement)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Key Stage 1 students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and school policies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.

2. Key Stage 2 Teacher:

Salary: £160-£230 per day (depending on experience and length of placement)

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a diverse range of subjects to Key Stage 2 students, ensuring high-quality instruction and academic progress.
  • Utilize effective classroom management strategies to create a supportive and respectful learning environment.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs and interests of individual students.
  • Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student well-being and achievement.

3. Daily Supply Teacher:

Salary: £160-£230 per day (depending on experience and length of placement)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover for absent teachers across various subjects and year groups.
  • Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher and ensure continuity of learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.

4. SEN 1:1 Support Staff / Learning Support Assistants:

Salary: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with special educational needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum and can reach their full potential.
  • Assist students with academic tasks, adapt materials and activities to meet individual needs.
  • Support students in developing social skills, communication skills, and independence, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement strategies outlined in students' individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the senior leadership team, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting support strategies as needed.
