Robertson Bell are partnering with this housing provider as they go to market for a Service Charge Assistant on a permanent basis. In this Service Charge Assistant role, you will:

  • Manage the service charge setting process for a designated portfolio of properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislation and policies.
  • Coordinate the calculation of service charge estimates and actuals, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Assist the Team Leader at year-end by answering queries, performing year-end reconciliation for your area of responsibility and ensure all charges are correct and up to date.
  • Be a key point for contact for tenants by answering queries relating to service charges and investigating potential errors.

Based in Dartford, the successful candidate will benefit from a hybrid working model, allowing for remote work flexibility throughout the week up to three days. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid understanding of service charge and lease legislation.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a housing association or private property provider.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including expertise in VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
