Job title: Insurance Administrator

Location: Ashford, Kent. Your own transport is required for very occasional holiday/sickness cover in Dover and Tenterden.

Salary: £22,500

Hybrid: 12 days working from home per year, subject to Manager agreement, ensuring the offices can remain open for customers.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 09.00 - 17.00.

In this role, you will:

  • Answer incoming calls, directing them to the relevant team member, and greet visitors to the office, making them feel welcome.
  • Support customers by booking review meetings and contacting them to address their insurance requirements effectively.
  • Manage stock and order marketing and business stationary, ensuring the team has the necessary resources to excel.
  • Efficiently handle incoming and outgoing post, ensuring that important correspondence is promptly processed and delivered.
  • Assist the New Business and Marketing team by organising external events and maintaining social media accounts.
  • Support the Agency Manager in coordinating internal events and training sessions, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Carry out credit control processes, including customer payments and processing refund requests within specified timeframes.
  • Collaborate with the Administration Team, providing cover for absences or high workloads as needed.
  • Consistently deliver excellent levels of customer service, meeting customers' needs, and exceeding their expectations.
