Reed Financial Services are pleased to be representing a medium size firm of directly authorised independent financial advisers with offices in the centre of Bristol. The firm was established over 35 years ago and specialises in retirement advice with a bank of over 800 clients. They are a proactive organisation and the workflow is high.

They seek an IFA Techncial Coordinator to join their team, theya re open to consdering full or part time and flexible working options.

Technical Coordinator role:

You will be responsible for coordinating new client work from report to completion. You will be responsible for oversight of this new client work, ensuring it is being completed in a timely and efficient manner. You will be expected to intervene with providers and/or clients when needed and provide sufficient and prompt updates on the position of work. You will need to have a proven track record of dealing with a wide variety of financial products including complex pension arrangements/transfers.

You will oversee a team of two administrators who will be reporting directly to you, the Technical Coordinator, for day-to-day workloads and queries, and you will provide support on technical aspects of their roles. We would expect this candidate to have a good head for process; both with external providers and platforms and with a view to improve internal procedures.

You will be responsible for signing off all new client reports having confirmed all technical accuracy within the report and ensure presentation of the report is suitable for client purpose.

You will be expected to provide up to date feedback on all outstanding open cases regularly to the adviser and PA and feedback on any queries that may arise following instructions.

In addition to new client work you will also be responsible for checking and signing off on all suitability and valuation reports on our existing book of clients confirming all technical accuracy within the report, and ensuring presentation of the report is suitable for client purpose.

You will also work closely with client managers and the Existing Business Team Leader surrounding suitability and valuation reports and being a point of contact for any technical queries that may arise.

You will also be working closely with the Operations Manager to provide regular feedback surrounding the team's position and raise any concerns that might impact processing.

They must have an ‘always learning' attitude to be able to deal with a variety of different challenges.

This candidate must be able to operate calmly in high pressured situations.

You must be able to communicate in a clear manner; with colleagues so that mistakes are avoided, and with clients so that they understand what is needed and feel reassured of our aid.
