Hales Group are currently seeking a Welder/Plater to join our client based in Beccles. You will be working for a small driven team to produce, maintain and repair products.
Main Duties Include:
- MMA and Fluxcore Welding
- Working with Aluminium, Mild Steel and Stainless Steel
- Set up and adjust welding equipment
- Create quality welds, going by drawings
- Continuous quality inspection and repair welded structures
- Preparing products to be welded by grinding, drilling, and milling
- Ensuring all equipment is in working order
- Maintaining a safe and clean working area
In order to be considered for this role;
- Experience of MMA and Fluxcore Welding is essential
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding equipment and safety standards
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Mechanically and technically minded
- Able to complete work that is physically demanding
LOCATIONS: Beccles HOURS: 7.30am-5pm Monday to Friday PAY: £15.40 per hour (overtime regularly available paid at enhanced rate) TERM: PERMANENT BENEFITS: Above statutory holiday, and regular overtime available!
