An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and eager-to-learn Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic Operations team. Based in the vibrant city of London, you will be at the heart of managing goods importation, order processing, warehouse communications, and data management. With a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £50,000, this role offers the chance to collaborate closely with EMEA partners and play a pivotal role in international order processing, customs procedures, and freight forwarding.

What you'll do:

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be an integral part of our operations team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing goods importation, order processing, warehouse communications, and data management. You will have the opportunity to work closely with EMEA partners in handling international order processing, customs procedures, and freight forwarding. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail as you will be responsible for processing customer orders on the ERP system, managing inbound and outbound orders efficiently, handling end-to-end freight shipments including customs clearance and fiscal responsibilities.

  • Process customer orders on the ERP system efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage EU/UK inbound and outbound orders.
  • Handle end-to-end processing of UK, European, and Far East Road, sea, and air freight shipments.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers and partners.
  • Oversee monthly 3PL invoice processing and maintain all documents related to the supply chain process.
  • Communicate costs and informed risks within the business to key stakeholders.
  • Identify areas for improvement by regularly reviewing processes.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the ERP system by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliation and troubleshoot with the warehouse.
  • Assist the technical team with product updates and inventory checks.

What you bring:

  • Proven experience in import/export logistics with an excellent understanding of customs procedures and incoterms (min 2 years)
  • Strong organisational skills with high level of accuracy
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Extensive experience working with ERP systems (min 2 years)
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements in ERP systems.
  • Flexible approach to change in a fast-moving environment
  • Clear communication abilities
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively across teams at all levels.
  • Eagerness to learn and proactive attitude toward improving processes.
