Invoicing Assistant (Accounts Receivable)

£25,000 - £28,000 DOE
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Invoice Administrator to work amongst the Invoicing Team, in a fast-growing company, supporting the business in raising invoices and carrying out related tasks in accordance with the team's requirements.
As an Invoicing Assistant you will be responsible for...
- Support the accounts function in the processing of invoices
- Work closely with operational and finance teams
- Updating of client information through telephone & email communication
- Answering the telephone, dealing with queries as appropriate
- Assisting the credit control team to efficiently resolve outstanding queries
- Assisting with reports for management, as and when required
- Liaising with the accounting team at head office
- To undertake any administrative tasks/projects as required to aid the function of the team
As an Invoicing Assistant you will need...
- Knowledge of accounting functions
- Experience with financial systems - SAP would be an advantage
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- High attention to detail, excellent at multitasking and highly organised
- Flexible, enthusiastic and can do attitude
- Previous experience within a finance team is essential
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- A minimum of 4 GCSE grades at C (grade 4) or above including Maths & English
- Computer literate with strong excel skills, including a familiarity with formulas and pivot tables
