I am exclusively representing a leading organisation in Lisburn that is embarking on an ambitious growth journey. They are seeking to hire an Accounting Technician to join their well-established finance team.
Your new role
As a member of the existing finance team, you will be responsible for a range of duties including:
- Sales and purchase ledger processing
- Reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Bank payment processing and short-term cash forecasting
- Assisting in preparation of VAT returns
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for this position, candidates should ideally possess an accounting technician qualification from a recognised accountancy body with a proven track record in a similar type of role. Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent communication & customer service skills and be highly organised with a good eye for detail.
