We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to ensure the timely delivery of goods to our customer sites. This role involves driving company-owned, leased, or rented vehicles, including vans, and requires a strong commitment to customer service and safe driving practices. The Delivery Driver will report to the Logistics Coordinator or Hire Manager, depending on the department.
Day to Day of the role:
- Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to customers, maintaining set routes and schedules to meet expectations.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring orders are accurate and all items are accounted for during both delivery and pickup.
- Secure contents properly inside the truck to prevent breakage or damage.
- Obey all traffic laws and drive according to weather/road conditions.
- Complete manual and/or electronic logbooks as required.
- Provide superior customer service, exceeding the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and interaction.
- Assist with dispatching as needed, including planning routes and coordinating with venues and warehouse personnel.
- Assist the warehouse team with pulling, receiving, and transportation of equipment.
- Participate in the annual physical inventory process and perform quality control and equipment staging in the warehouse.
- Between 1- 10 venue drops per day.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to follow schedules and routes effectively.
- Experience in driving company vehicles and handling equipment.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and the ability to perform daily inspections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
