Senior Financial Services Administrator - St Albans

Purpose of the role is to provide administration support to IFAs, other company staff members and

Directors.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong financial administration & communication skills.
  • Financial Services Background – exams preferred.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage your own workload.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Be able to work on your own or as part of a team.

Responsibilities – all or some of these will be relevant depending on the specific role

being undertaken and this will be confirmed and documented on the individuals file

together with any additional responsibilities that have been agreed.

  • To accurately maintain client personal details and policy information on the firm's

back office system (Intelliflo)

  • Assist adviser with preparation of paperwork required for client meetings
  • Liaise with adviser, product providers and other third parties to ensure the

smooth processing of new business

  • Prepare valuations & other necessary documentation required for client review

meetings

  • Deal with incoming calls & visitors to the office in a professional manner
  • General administrative duties including scanning photocopying filing
  • Ensure firm procedures & compliance requirements are adhered to
  • Assisting the firm with ad hoc project work as required

Purpose of the role

  • To provide administrative and financial planning support for the IFA's

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong administration and communication skills.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of FCA and Firms procedures and record keeping

  • Attained minimum one Diploma level qualification and working towards attaining

full Diploma qualification.

  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to manage your own workload.
  • Flexible and positive attitude.
  • Strong IT skills.
