Our Client in Northampton is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.
Monday to Friday
£28k-£35k
Main Duties include (but not limited to):
- Managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Assist in month and year end
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounts Assistant or similar role
- Proficiency in XERO & Sage 200
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- 2-4 years' experience
