Anne Corder is recruiting for a packaging artworker on behalf of a privately owned, friendly business specialising in the manufacture, import, and supply of home décor products. With over 20 years of experience serving some of the UK's most recognised retailers, they are currently experiencing significant growth and are seeking a talented individual to join their team.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Packaging Artworker to join our clients expanding product team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the packaging process. The ideal candidate will be based in the office and will report to the Design and Development Manager, working closely with the design and development coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer packaging guidelines.
- Request and verify cutter guides from factories.
- Create print-ready artwork for all packaging requirements.
- Manage the packaging approval process with customers.
- Distribute packaging artwork and specifications to factories.
- Approve production packaging, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Follow up on and verify gold seals.
- Assist the team with various tasks and requests as needed.
- Conduct product photography for packaging artwork and record-keeping purposes.
- Oversee the photography process for specific clients, collaborating with third-party providers.
- Perform administrative duties related to the development process, including unpacking and packing boxes, assisting with showroom setups, maintaining product displays, creating mock-up boxes, and inputting technical data.
Ideal Candidate:
- A positive team player with keen attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organisational abilities.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 is essential.
- Photography experience, particularly in a studio setting, is highly desirable but not essential.
- A full, clean driving license is required.
