Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our Building Services team. This role involves the maintenance and repair of Council-owned properties, including public buildings and schools. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction in all tasks performed.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Responsible for both internal and external decoration of Council properties, public buildings, and schools.
- Ensure the quality of work meets the expectations and satisfaction of clients or tenants.
- Maintain a favourable business image and uphold the standards of the organisation.
- Complete all relevant records accurately, such as timesheets, as per existing procedures.
- Stay updated with technological developments within the painting and decorating trade.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in painting and decorating, preferably within a similar role.
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of current technologies and methods in the trade.
- Good organisational skills to manage documentation and records effectively.
