Description
The Role:
- Working closely with the factory team to maximise profit and performance
- Provide accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting
- Provide strong front-line financial analysis
- Provide transactional finance support to the site, including P&L, Balance sheet and cashflow
- Ensure financial transactions are processed and financial records updated promptly
- Contribute to site financial reviews
- Monitor project expenditure, such as CAPEX and R&D
- Support with inventory control and stock takes
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Product costing, and cost analysis
- Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to streamline financial processes
- Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure accountability
- Support with audit process
Profile
The Ideal Candidate:
- AAT Level 3 essential
- AAT Level 4 desirable
- Currently working towards or aspiring to work towards a further professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA etc)
- Experience in a similar role within manufacturing (ideally food manufacturing) or similar
- Continuous improvement mindset with an understanding of LEAN principles or similar
- Analytical, commercially-minded, and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills with high proficiency in MS Excel
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data clearly and work effectively with all levels of management and employees
