HR Generalist - amazing venue and opportunity!

This position will look after all members of the team when it comes to HR matters - from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and getting staff paid - right through to ensuring the operations are running smoothly based on a motivated and happy workforce. As such we are looking for candidates with good generalist HR knowledge, experience of dealing with employee relations from start to finish and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The role will be site based in the Chigwell area 5 days a week but we must stress the incredible culture, environment and fun venue will make this worthwhile! Salary circa £34,000 + 10% bonus + benefits and perks.

Role overview:

  • Placing the brand's core values at the heart of employee culture
  • Dealing with all HR matters for the location employees
  • Effectively managing employee relations cases including absence, sickness and performance management issues
  • Working closely with line managers to support on ER
  • Driving all cultural, diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with regards to right to work checks
  • Coordinating recruitment for the team including recruitment open days
  • Employee onboarding and uploading onto HR and payroll systems
  • Managing the venue Administrator
  • Providing HR data to the central HR team
  • Responsible for all venue supplies

Candidate requirements:

  • Previous HR experience is essential
  • Proven experience of managing employee relations cases
  • Previous experience at HR Advisor, HR Manager, HR Generalist or similar
  • Able to travel to the Chigwell area daily
  • An outgoing, vibrant but professional and organised character
