About the Position:
Join our client school in Liverpool as a dedicated and resilient Male SEMH Teaching Assistant. Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic individual to work within a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) Secondary school in Liverpool. This school, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, caters to students aged 11-16. The successful candidate will provide support to a group of male students, offering positive male role modelling tailored to the specific needs outlined in the children's EHCP.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification OR relevant experience in working with children or adults with additional needs.
- Knowledge of SEMH needs (training can be provided upon successful role acquisition).
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Full-time availability (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 2:30 pm).
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
