We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Logistics Specialist / Supply Chain Coordinator who is educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a supply chain, logistics or business management field, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail and proficiency using Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
Working as the Logistics Specialist / Supply Chain Coordinator you will report to the Logistics Manager, delivering the daily execution of all responsibilities of the department.
As the Logistics Specialist / Supply Chain Coordinator you will ensure budget compliance and cost controls and will contribute to achieving company profitability by hitting and surpassing targets.
As a successful candidate you will ideally need previous experience in a Production, Manufacturing, FMCG, Drinks environment using an ERP system and you will be able to build business relationships with a variety of stakeholders including customers, warehouse, transport providers, couriers and suppliers.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Logistics Specialist / Supply Chain Coordinator include:
- Co-ordinate & own the collection process between our co-packers, Wincanton, and all other stakeholders e.g., Laws to ensure peak service. Ensuring our collection OTIF consistently performs above 95% target
- Co-ordinate & own the US shipping process from collection to billing including all day-to-day issues, transactions, admin & be the key liaison with all stakeholders
- Own & develop the weekly stock reconciliation process with our primary 3PL and smaller partner sites
- Drive OTIF & service delivery through leading RCA sessions, challenging causes of failure & developing best practices. Provide clear analysis regularly on trends & performance over time and lead the business on OTIF
- Manage the MYCHEP transaction process & reconciliation end to end ensuring all agreed tolerances are maintained across all parties including monthly analysis & risk reporting
- Champion the daily KPI process & ensure the 3PL fulfil their requirements to update, maintain and drive performance
- Take the lead on relevant logistics projects to deliver cost savings or process improvement
- Provide all relevant BAU daily logistics reporting & updates in a clear, detailed & effective manner with a focus to drive action cross-functionally
- Represent & lead for logistics in all relevant meetings always acting in line with our organisational values
- Work cross functionally to support other teams such as customer service and the wider supply chain
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent in a supply chain, logistics & business management field
- Demonstrable growth mindset & ability to handle change
- Values driven & able to demonstrate personal values in action
- Confident with all MS packages to a moderate level especially Excel with a desire to develop to an advanced level
- High attention to detail & ability to use data to get results
- Track record in building high performing relationships
- Ability to follow, set up and drive process forward
- Process creator and owner. Proven track record of ensuring defined processes are followed in a time critical fashion
- Results focussed, team player, motivator, and enabler
- An awareness of logistics processes e.g., OTIF, pallet management
Desirable
- Production environment exposure
- Experience in using an ERP system e.g., Oracle Netsuite
- FMCG experience
- Drinks experience
- Previous experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment
- Certified logistics training
- PowerBI &/or Power automate knowledge
- Experience in using myCHEP
