We are seeking a Property Administrator to join a reputable small but friendly business based in the local Enfield area.
This role is the first point of contact for our customers, requiring tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break, and Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
There is hybrid working once probation has been passed.
Day to Day of the role:
- Assist the repairs and maintenance team in managing a growing property portfolio.
- Act as the first point of contact for customers, handling calls and emails efficiently in line with the company's service level agreements.
- Use a workflow system to ensure that deadlines and targets are met.
- Log calls and monitor them from start to completion, ensuring a smooth resolution.
- Liaise with leaseholders and contractors, coordinating maintenance works and organising quotes and repairs.
- Handle questions, complaints, and maintenance issues with professionalism.
- Assist with insurance claims and potentially progress to supervising a small team of property administrators.
The successful applicant will have:
- Good understanding of residential property management and current legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be flexible and multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an expanding team.
- Good literacy and numerical skills.
- Professional telephone manner with high levels of customer service.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Quick and decisive action-taking skills.
- Experience in the property sector.
- Knowledge of Qube is desirable but not essential.
- Some knowledge of building technology is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Section 20 legislation.
- A common-sense approach to problem-solving.
