Part Time Administrator

Part Time Administrator required to support a small, busy and personable team. This is a part time position working 20 hours a week. Flexibility is required to work longer hours when needed to cover annual leave. The annual salary based on 20 hours will be £14,560.

The main purpose of the role is to provide efficient preparation of insurance premium declarations, compiling commission data ready for commission to be paid accurately and in a timely manner, with accurate reconciliation of credit card payments, on Microsoft Excel.

Duties:

  • Preparing premium declarations for different insurers using different formats
  • Liaising with clients, agents and financial institutions as appropriate
  • Preparing agent commission statements in sterling and other currencies as required
  • Preparing reports for Directors as required
  • Recording statistical information for FCA reporting and PI application
  • Complying with set timescales and meeting deadlines throughout the month
  • Reconciling credit card accounts which collect client premium
  • Working within the rules of the Financial Conduct Authority

Experience required:

  • Excellent Microsoft Excels skills
  • Previous knowledge or experience in insurance, finance, accounts is beneficial
  • Good, clear communication and listening skills
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
