Procurement Officer | Kent | £32,000-£39,000 per annum | Permanent| Hybrid
Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a Public Sector Organisation in Kent to recruit a Procurement Officer on a permanent basis.
This role sits within the Commercial and Procurement team. You will be supporting and assisting the Category Manager in completing commercial projects across the function, promoting innovative approaches to procurement and market analysis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a previous public sector background who is looking to further develop and enhance their skillset within an existing, dynamic and driven team.
The role offers a hybrid working policy; with the requirement to attend the office 3 days per week; with the other 2 working from home

Role:
- Support and assist the Category Manager in the initial procurement strategy
- Work with customers to develop requirements; putting together tender packs/ evaluating tender processes
- Writing T&C's for contract awards
- Ensure that all procurement and contract management activity is undertaken in accordance with agreed corporate procurement processes
- Conduct data and spend analysis
- Utilise frameworks
- Liaise with senior stakeholders on a regular basis
Individual:
- Great communication skills , track record of efficient stakeholder management
- Experience within Public Sector Procurement
- Solution focused, a 'can do' attitude
