Production Manager - Retford Area (Permanent)

Adept Resourcing are currently working with a rapid growing company based In the Retford area who are looking to add an experience Production Manager to the team.

To be considered all candidates must have previous experience within a similar role and can show strong skill sets when it comes to managing a team.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Production Manager:

  • To ensure all factory staff receive the relevant training and guidance in order to carry out their role to the best of their abilities.
  • Ensure all on site health and safety rules and regulations are met and followed.
  • To Co-ordinate all aspects of production and operations to ensure that quality delivery targets are achieved.
  • Liaising daily with the directors of the business.
  • Instruct overtime on a weekly basis to ensure production output required.
  • Handle all aspects of employee disciplinaries.
  • Maintain quality standards on all products.
  • Daily morning meetings and detailed production reports
  • Dealing with staffing requirements
  • Relationship buildings with employees, customers and supplied.

The ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in staff management within a production environment is essential.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policy's within a production environment.
  • Must be looking for a long term role that can offer stability.
  • Be able to identify possible improvements within production and feed this back to director levels.
  • Must have strong planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail

This role is a permanent job opportunity following a successful interview process. The working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am-17:00pm with a 1 hour lunch break. The salary for this role is £35,000-£45,000 depending on experience.
