Sports Coach (SEN School)
Career Teachers are currently working with a school who are dedicated to supporting students with a range of learning needs. The school is passionate about providing high-quality education and are now seeking a dedicated and energetic sports coach to join their team.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience working with children with special educational needs and will be able to adapt activities to ensure all students can participate and enjoy the benefits of physical activity.
Key responsibilities:-
- plan and deliver a variety of sports and physical activities tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN
- work closely with teachers and teaching assistants and other staff to create a supportive inclusive learning environment
- monitor and assess pupils progress
- promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported
What you need:-
- experience working as a sports coach ideally within a SEN setting
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- passionate about promoting physical health and well-being for all students
- knowledge of range of sports and psychical activities suitable for children with Special educational needs
